RYE TURNS 2

Hard to believe that 2 years ago I held a gorgeous baby boy in my arms... I can still vividly remember his round red face screaming in protest as he got suctioned, cleaned and wrapped. He had amazing silky hair that was so bizzare to us after Kane had been so bald! Rye completed our world, and I can't imagine our lives without him.
He's such a gentle soul with a sweet nature. He has a streak of temper and big amount of clumsy. But were so glad he is the way he is :) He loves chores, cows, horses, mud, rocks, sand, and dirt in general!

TEL IS 5 MONTHS

Our littlest man is 5 months old... we love him more then ever!
If your wondering why he's always half naked in his pictures its because he drools and spits up so much that its hard to keep him dry! So we just wear pants and on special occasions we put a shirt on :)
And he's a terrible scratcher too... always has his hands by his face sucking on his fingers or scratching his forehead... we try to keep socks on him... but he sucks the socks and then his hands freeze! Anyways heres another picture of our 5 month old boy :)

FRIENDS ARE THE BEST THING TO HAVE

Sometimes I watch people go through things or face things that make my heart ache...

Sometimes your like me and are lucky enough to have friends that make your heart ache a little bit less...

I have friends that even though I do not see every day, or live close to, or phone faithfully... they mean the world to me. I wish within myself I had the power to make a difference... but sometimes there is nothing you can do but pray, and love the amazing people god has put in your life...

FEELS LIKE SPRING

So these past few weeks the weather has been unbelivable. Were so luck to be enjoying what feels like May instead its only March! I love it, and all the boys around here are loving it too! Were loving the long sunny days... makes me so excited for summer to arrive! Here's a quick peek of whats been going on around here...

SHOTS & WEIGHTS

Yesterday Tel got his second set of shots. Some moms believe in them, some don't and whatever the case I don't feel strongly either way. As a mom I try to protect my kids the best way I know how so... whooping cough look out :) Anyways Tel is finally back on track! Yay for our littlest man. His reflux is still terrible, and he just threw up what looks like a half a jug of milk on the floor... but I don't care as long as he's fat and flourishing :) His weight was 13lbs and 8 oz. He's 25" long. He's in the 15th percentile for height and weight. You'll have to google percentile if you need an explanation...

Anyways our little munchkin is doing great, the nurse was so impressed because he never even cried at all when he got his needles! The first needle most babies don't cry, but the second one they normally howl.
So bless his big brothers for turning Tel into the tough little stud he has no choice but to be!

WHEN DADDY'S AWAY...

So this past weekend Brennan left us all, flew to Edmonton where picked up our brand new (to us) dooge (thats what the boys call dodge pickups :)

So not sure if other moms can relate, but I'm sure you know the feeling when your all alone with just your kids and that no one is there to distract them while you go to the bathroom, have a shower, answer the phone ect... annd it was only two days, I must sound pathetic! But it makes me realize how hard it must be for single moms, or women whose husbands work far from home. I know that I am fortunate.
Anyways me and the boys had some friends over for snacks and tea. Then that night we went to town for pizza :) Then got home and cozied up in the king size, and watched a cartoon with some popcorn - the boys loved it! And I did too of course! Then Saturday rolled around... the weather was gorgeous so I thought... hmm we should go do all daddys chores.... so 6 eggs, 3 cows rounded up and 20 buckets of pellets later we were done! Good thing we have such good helpers around here!!

So this is a recipie I found on www.pinterest.com - from this site --http://www.sixsistersstuff.com/2012/02/stuffed-pizza-rolls-recipe.html

I love pinterest and browsing through the creative minds of other people, however I can't say I'm normally inspired to actually re-create the way pinterest has intended... however these looked so tasty and I was (once again) at a loss for what to whip up for supper. These tasty little critters were a new twist on an old fave....

pizza dough - rolled out to 12 x 18 (ish)
cut into 24 pieces (mine was only 20) with a pizza cutter
then add some cheese & meat (whatever you like on your pizza!)

roll into little balls, brush with oil, sprinkle with italian seasoning and parmesan

dip in your favourite pizza sauce... and yum!
